Privacy Policy

The three inputs to a reading — birth date, hour of birth, and blood type — are processed entirely in your browser. They are stored only in your browser's local storage on this device, and only so that the same reading can be opened again.

• Birth details are never uploaded to our servers.
• Birth details are never placed in URLs, so they are not logged in server request logs.
• Clearing your browser storage removes the reading from this device.

Each reading is identified by an anonymous reading id: a one-way hash of the three inputs. The hash does not contain your raw birth data and cannot be turned back into it.

• Invite and share counters. A count per invite code, used for the invite discount. Nothing else.
• Purchase records. A PayPal order id mapped to the anonymous reading id, the price tier (standard or invite), and a timestamp. This is what lets “Restore my purchase” work on a new device.
• Deduplication and rate-limit hashes. Short-lived hashes used so a single visit to an invite link counts once per 24 hours and so API abuse stays limited.

We do not store birth details, email addresses, accounts, or raw IP addresses. An IP address is used only as a salted one-way hash for the 24-hour deduplication above and is never stored or logged in readable form.

We use PostHog (free tier) for product analytics. Only a small set of custom funnel events is sent: starting a reading, completing a reading, viewing the paywall, clicking checkout, a successful payment, exporting a report, and invite or share actions.

• No session replay, no heatmaps, no third-party tag.
• The site sets no persistent cookie. A random identifier is kept in browser memory for the duration of a tab session and is gone when you close it.
• Events never include birth date, hour of birth, blood type, or the reading id.
• The PostHog project is configured with IP capture disabled and profile creation limited to identified users, so no location-based or long-term profile is built from these events.

The analytics data is used to understand where in the funnel visitors stop, so the free reading and the full reading stay useful.

Payment is handled by PayPal. When you check out, you are taken through PayPal's own flow (including guest checkout with a card, where available). Any payment data you enter is handled by PayPal under its own privacy policy, not by us. We never see or store card numbers or PayPal account details.
